The Stansted 15, a group of activists who peacefully stepped onto a runway, to hold up a plane deporting refugees, who had, as then still having right to appeal their deportation to a country where they would be at great risk of being harmed.

It turned out that 2 of the people they got off the plane won their cases to be allowed asylum in the UK, which wouldn't have happened, had the plane departed as scheduled.
